This year, Parrish Tire & Automotive proudly celebrates 80 years of serving drivers and families through our retail division — the side of our business dedicated to daily drivers, and the folks who rely on them.
But while this chapter is 80 years strong, our story runs much deeper.
A Legacy That Started in 1946 🇺🇸
Parrish Tire was founded in 1946 by J.H. “Shorty” Parrish, a World War II veteran who spent 47 months serving in the U.S. Navy. Like many Americans returning home after the war, Shorty got to work.
In the beginning, Parrish Tire was built on two simple ideas:
• Serve people honestly
• Take care of those who served
In fact, our first crew was made up entirely of veterans. That respect for service, discipline, and doing things the right way didn’t fade with time — it became the foundation of who we still are today.
